Inula, DEFINED

inula, -ae (f) – inula, fleabane, elecampane

The Latin equivalent for konuza. I have included Pliny’s description of inula as a bittering food additive. Re: beer, Hecataeus describes the use of konuza/inula in a Paeonian millet beer.
