Classical Beer Review: Wasatch Brewing Polygamy Porter (Nitro)

polynitro.jpg

An easy drinking porter with a delightfully creamy mouthfeel (thanks, nitrogen!). There is a strong milk chocolate flavor that is  . . .  married . . . with subtle coffee and raisin notes. The aftertaste has the tiniest hint of soaked pea-flavor. However, this could be a permanent flavor residing in my mouth after all the pulse-beers I have been drinking. Unlike my experiments, I would certainly drink this beer again.

Background
Polygamy: a compound of the Greek words πολυ (poly- many) and γαμος (gamos- marriage). Although a Greek compound word, it is a later Latin invention . . . the word, not the practice.

Facts
0.33 L
6% ABV
Brewed: Wasatch Brewing
Salt Lake City, Utah
